Hi, I'm Maxime. I'm an everyday retail investor, not a licensed financial adviser. I built TickerCompare because I kept running into the same problem: most ETF comparison sites are built for US investors and quietly ignore the things that actually matter to investors outside the US, like UCITS funds, Irish domicile, dividend withholding tax, and what you can realistically buy on Interactive Brokers.

So this site does one thing: it compares the UCITS ETFs and popular stocks you can buy on Interactive Brokers, in plain English, with real performance charts and a portfolio simulator. No paywalls, no sign-up, no jargon walls.

How I keep it honest

• Every fund description, "what's good" and "watch out for" is written by hand for beginners, not auto-generated marketing copy.
• Performance comes from real market data, refreshed daily, and is shown in US dollars so everything compares on the same basis. See data & methodology.
• TickerCompare earns a referral commission if you open an Interactive Brokers account through a link here, at no extra cost to you. That is how the site stays free. It never changes which funds I show or what I say about them.
